How it works
From buried bookmarks to a queue you’ll open.
Noya is a local-first Chrome extension. It uses your existing X session to sync bookmarks, then keeps the reading loop on your device.
1. Install — no account
Add Noya from the Chrome Web Store. There is no Noya signup. Your library lives in the browser profile on this device.
2. Sync X bookmarks → Inbox
While you’re logged into X in Chrome, Noya can pull your bookmarks into a local Inbox. A large sync does not dump everything onto your new tab. You triage first.
3. Triage: Queue, tag, or dismiss
From Inbox you can:
- Queue — add to the Reading Queue (what new tabs show)
- Tag — organize in the Library without reading yet
- Dismiss — clear noise from active attention
4. Read in the Reader
Open a save in a calm reader: threads, cool highlights, private notes. Mark Done when finished. Reading state is separate from tags.
5. New tab (optional)
By default Noya can replace New Tab with your queue so you keep finishing. Turn that off anytime and open Noya from the extension icon instead.
6. Export anytime
Export your library (saves, tags, state, highlights, notes) as a backup. Import to restore. Optional cloud sync is not part of v1.
